Real and Relatable
Our current workshop offerings incorporate Crossroads, a youth-created, story-centered interactive resource designed to engage students in meaningful dialogue and learning.
The storylines and interpersonal conflicts in Crossroads draw from the lived experiences of BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ teenagers who have "been there." These authentic narratives offer students relatable insights to address challenging conflicts, such as discrimination, harassment, exclusion, microaggressions, and cancel culture.
Engaging and Interactive
Our workshops bring learning to life with 'Choose-your-own-adventure' storylines, reflective prompts, and pop-up definitions that contextualize key concepts. With a glossary of 70 terms and related learning resources, students are equipped with the knowledge they need. Journaling and clickable options further scaffold learning, supporting students in considering how the characters' transformations might mirror their own life experiences and learning journeys.
Curriculum-Aligned and Competency-Driven
Our workshops meet curricular Learning Standards while extending Core Competencies in Communication, Critical Thinking, and Personal and Social Responsibility. Tailored for learners in grades 8 to 12, these sessions provide the critical thinking and social-emotional skills necessary to foster caring, inclusive, and accountable school communities.
