ChARTing Change

ChARTing Change showcases the stories, visions, and perspectives of youth, and highlights the important role the arts can play in envisioning and enacting better futures.

The ChARTing Change program began in 2020 with a small cohort of emerging BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) artists making a series of videos and accompanying workshops designed to engage students in critical and creative reflection, about racism and systemic inequities.

A big focus of this program in 2021 has been the ChARTing Change Art Contest: a creative call out to youth to ‘chart the change’ they want to see in the world. Check out some of the many entries here.
