DIY on the fly (vol.2)
This collection marks the successful completion of 2 days of workshops for these youth. In that time, they learned the art of storytelling, simplicity, production and post-production techniques. Upon completion of the workshop, these youth had one day to shoot and one day to edit a video that was completely of their own design. Mentored by Hayley Sinclair and Meesoo Lee, this access had lead participants to create films that reflect the urgency and the power of giving the tools to traditionally marginalized people in our community. This project was supported by Canada Council for the Arts, Vancouver Foundation, Access to Media Education Society and SF-PIRG.
