Staring on Feb 16 th/2004, Urban Outreach will be hosting technical training and workshops to begin creating a documentary about Crystal Meth use. This project has been supported by Dusk to Dawn Street Youth Resource Centre, Street Youth Job Action, Canada Council for the Arts, United Way, and the Access to Media Education Society.

All video projects from Urban Outreach are created by using participants who not only want to apply/learn video skills, but also by folks who are experts on the topic. The Starting Point project seeks to create 2 new videos, created by past and current users to be featured in a larger documentary that will address some of the issues surrounding Crystal Meth addiction.

Workshops will be held at Dusk To Dawn and will run from Feb 16th til March 3/2004. There is no cost to participate. As always, just your time and commitment is expected.
