AMES has a 20-year history of investing in the imaginations and skills of up-and-coming media artists, digital activists and creative change makers. Our programs provide unique and creatively charged opportunities for young people to work with community-based artists and mentors to make and share meaningful media that matters to them.

Our resource packages are inspired by and built around the videos that youth create during our media intensives. Whatever issues they focus on, the overarching goal remains the same: to prompt critical conversations in classrooms and beyond, deepen awareness, and build bridges of understanding within and between communities.
