Our organization (AMES) runs a “Train the Trainers” program designed to help educators in B.C. Canada develop anti-discrimination education. A common frustration expressed by the educators is they faced many “superiors” and colleagues with a general lack of will when it came to tackling these issues with any real depth or conviction.
The teachers felt they would be immensely supported in their work if they could easily access information about new resources, get some up-to-date lesson plans and share information about teaching techniques for effective anti-discrimination education.
Thus were the seeds for Resources for Change planted.
**As we are currently updating our website, we’re in the process of moving these resources over. In the meantime, please feel free to access the old Resources for Change website**
