Expressions of Aboriginal Youth
Focusing on the visions and views of three emerging First Nations artists, this piece explores the role video is playing in helping Native youth tell their stories, recover their culture and develop their voices.
This video is produced by the Access to Media Education Society's Peer Perspective Program, and is available for viewing online, or copies can be ordered.
Classroom facilitations are also available with this program and feature thought-provoking discussion around the issues raised in the video. In addition, the group has developed learning resource packages for teachers.
